The vehicle plane lost contact only 20 minutes after departure as it was heading over the Black Sea. The plane was comprehended to be destined for Syria's Latakia territory.
Interfax news organization reports cited a source as saying that the plane left from Sochi at 05:20 neighborhood time (1.20pm AEST).
