An adolescent killed his mom in her rest hours after she declined to give him a chance to keep a puppy, a court has heard.
Andrew Willson, 19, expelled a weapon from a bolted bureau before shooting his mom Lisa in the back of the head, police said.
Hours after the fact he called police to report that she had been killed.
